History of the Cabin

(where he stayed as a little boy w- his dad)

(Teresa this is for you this is what we wake up to & see out the window every morning)

So as most of all you know we have been going down to the cabin since I have been married wich is 10 years in Oct. so I thought I would give you a little history on the Cabin. My Grandpa Cal who is 84 now started going down when he was 8 years old w- his father who owened over 160 acres in Zions when he was a boy they would take a whole day if they left in the morning they would get there late that eve, & he only lived in Hurricane at the time wich now is a hour drive tops. They would stay the week & farm then come home for a week then back so made the trip a lot to say the least well when his father passed he left the property to Grandpa & he has wanted a cabin for his sons since he brought them every year since they were 8 to Hunt. So obviously my dad brought his boys, & Brie once they were 8 to come down Hunting, well I married a hunter so we started immediately comming down wich I will admit fun very fun. Well anyways Grandpa had a Idea & the boys talked him in to doing it & they started buildeing what was suppose to be only a bathroom & loft for some to stay, well now sleeps 20 2 bathrooms, & bedroom for him & Grandma, & kitchen w- living area! WOW he is so very greatfull to all the Boys who has helped build this awesome fun 15 days out of a year cabin we get to enjoy! I'm so greatfull to see how happy Grandpa is & how much he loves it down there I hope he is around enjoy it for many more years!

Turkey Hunt

Yes it was the Turkey Hunt last week we just got home from the mountain, fun times as usual the men worked I cooked, cleaned, & watched kids & played of course. So there were NO turkeys again so sad to report ( NOT) or I would have one in my basement, sorry for all the pics but again like I have said before I want to publish this so Its my 1/2 scrapbook, 1/2 Journal well a lot of four wheeling, card playing,flying kites, just getting down & dirty or black eyes cuz there older brother wasn't holding on tight to you when you went on a ride & hit the handle bars thats all! sorry for some of the blurry pic's I'm not sure why.

Happy Brirthday

Well yes It is Travis's Birthday 29! old fart he is getting up there at least looks older & acts way older then me! He does so much for this family we couldnt ask for a better dad, or husband. Travis loves to hunt everything that moves, snow mobile, 4 wheelers, & work I love ya babe!

100th Blog........ Shantell's Birthday!

Well the little girl who made me a proud mama 9 years ago, wow 9 years I cant believe it! She is such a joy in our lives, WE went to lunch today @ Applebee's her choice & Mc Donalds for dinner yea! I love it any ways what a good girl she is she is the biggest helper, best baby sitter, loves her brothers, loves the Littlest Pet Shops, hunting, shooting w- dad, 4 wheeling, what can I say, a true TOM BOY w- the biggest female attitude I have ever met, she is a great friend who has nothing bad to say about anyone & looks in the good in all, makes me want to be a better person & I'm so proud & greatfull she chose me to be her mother!

Easter

Well Easter was a great one as usual, tried to remind the little ones for the real reason of Easter I hope one day they will fully understand & appreciate this wonderful day! ALong w- the Fullmer Easter Egg Hunt done by Grandma Fullmer every year what a woman! 6 eggs for like 20 kids she's crazy! & that is why we love her! well not hte only reason.

Well we had a long day to say the least Sat night after te hunt's we went to Cabelas to get the turkey decoy's & little ol' Kehl fell asleep so sorry he didnt really dye the Eggs that night but the older two had some fun times!

Yes oh yes did we have the Easter Egg Hunts, Sat we had the anuall Fulllmer Hunt wich is always a big turn out. Whoo can turn down hot dogs & mellows, & candy mmmmmmmm not us! We had a great time saw some cousins I dont get to see to much, we ended up leaving early due to the Anual Doyle Easter Egg Hunt wich was GREAT! the kids love there cousins & play hard we had a nice Ham dinner then it of course started to rain so we had a little diffrent Egg hunt of inside the house, Look for hte piles through out the house grab one & move on great fun!
